I’m the Mother of Boys, and Only Boys – And That’s More Than Fine
I am the mother of three boys. Three highly sensitive boys for that matter. If you are the parent of exclusively sons, or parenting solely daughters then you have probably been asked if you will be trying again for a daughter/son.
I have certainly been asked that question multiple times. Every time I was pregnant in fact.
Why people think they can ask such a thing is the first mystery. But in any case I do have an answer for anyone who wants to know.
“Will you try for a fourth? For a girl?”
“Er no. We’re okay, but thanks for delving into our personal lives.”
My full, complete answer is over on The Good Men Project: I love being a boy mama.

When I was pregnant for the third (and last) time I had a sneaking suspicion I was carrying a baby that would complete my trio of young males to mother. The twenty-week scan confirmed my hunch.
Over to You
If you are in the same boat: how do you feel about being the mother or father of just boys, or exclusively girls? Do you feel like you are missing out?
