Make Happiness a Theme of Your Highly Sensitive Life

There’s a reason I named this blog Happy Sensitive Kids. The happy part is an important one. Understanding our sensitive children is one thing, giving them the tools to put their sensitive traits to good use is quite another. The same applies to those of us who are highly sensitive adults. Often highly sensitive people will go through life thinking there is something wrong with them. It’s often not until parenthood that the words ‘highly sensitive’ come up on our radar, and for many adults it is a lightbulb moment. Also the moment to turn those sensitive traits into something positive! It’s the moment to make happiness a theme of your life. Celebrate your highly sensitive traits – don’t hide them away in an attempt to merely survive in a world not made for highly sensitive people.

Here are 15 happiness resources to help you consider your life though different eyes. I hope that all 15 happiness resources will inspire you to make happiness THE theme of your life. And that theme will spread to your children’s lives.
