A Story for Highly Sensitive Children: Long Hat is a Hero

Regular readers will already know just how close to my heart a little gnome called Long Hat (or for those of you who know him in Dutch: Langmuts) is. So I am thrilled to share this review of the newly translated story with you here, which was left by a reader on Amazon.

I’m so grateful to have a book about high sensitivity to read to my 6yo HS child! THANK YOU to all the team involved in bringing this book to print. The story is sweet, funny, accessible and encouraging, and is a helpful story about tolerance for all children. My child was still chuckling about the story the next day, and immediately wanted to read it to his younger brother. Definitely reccomend for any family with highly sensitive children, and for all Early Years settings!

Long Hat is a Hero

To update those of you in the USA: there is currently no outlet selling Long Hat in the USA. The book ‘Long Hat is a Hero‘ is available at the moment in the UK via Amazon.co.uk and in the Netherlands through Scrivo Media.

No one knows what the future holds, so should this situation change you guys will be amongst the first to know.

So sad it’s not available in the USA. I’ve been trying to find books to share with my daughter’s classmates to help them understand how she experiences the world.
